All of the verses quoted in the previous post are past tense sentences.
Here are a few more.
1. “But now we have been delivered from the law, having died to what we were held by, so that we should serve in the newness of the Spirit and not in the oldness of the letter.” (Romans 7:6)
2. “But you are not in the flesh but in the Spirit, if indeed the Spirit of God dwells in you. Now if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he is not His.” (Romans 8:9)
3. “Therefore, if you died with Christ from the basic principles of the world, why, as though living in the world, do you subject yourselves to regulations.” (Colossians 2:20)
4. “For you died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God.” (Colossians 3:3)
5. “I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me...And those who are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires.” (Galatians 2:20, 5:24)
6 “For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it is the gift of God.” (Ephesians 2:8)
If these do not describe you, you have not been saved.
These are all true or false statements about Christians. If they are true about you, thank God.
