There are several words that can honestly be next to the word, “truth.” Here are a few:
Self-Evident Truth.
Discovered Truth
Proven Truth
Absolute Truth. (Redundancy)
Experimental Truth
Experiential Truth
Declared Truth
Preached Truth
Established Truth
None of these words either cause or invent truth. Truth was always there. People can believe in the truth. But believing in it does not make it true.
There is a truth called the law of gravity. It has been in existence long before it was discovered and formulated. It did not have to be preached and believing it did not make it so. It did not seem to care if anyone believed in it.
There is a great axiomatic or self-evident truth, which is “God.” Believing in God does not make Him God, but not believing in Him has dire consequences for the non-believer.
“For since the creation of the world God's invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature—have been clearly seen, being understood from what has been made, so that men are without excuse.” Romans 1:20
“The fool says in his heart, “There is no God.” They are corrupt, and their ways are vile; there is no one who does good.” Psalm 53:1
