“Prejudice: an adverse opinion or leaning formed without just grounds or before sufficient knowledge.”

It looks as if “tolerance” is a good word and “prejudice” is a bad word.

Some of “tolerance” is an advance positive judgment without information whereas “prejudice” is an advance negative judgment without information.

The practice of both words may be based upon ignorance.

Let us be adequately informed so that our judgments, pro or con, are neither prejudicial to the good nor tolerant of evil.
